The Mustang Bullitt Is Back For A Special 50th Anniversary

It has been 50 years since the Mustang Bullitt hit the big screen with Steve McQueen behind the wheel in the blockbuster hit Bullitt. So to celebrate this milestone Ford has brought the Bullitt back!

While the Mustang has changed its look since 1968 Mustang 390 GT Fastback it still delivers a thrilling driving experience. The 2019 Mustang Bullitt is a special edition Mustang GT Premium that is equipped with the Performance package. The Performance Package includes Brembo six-piston front brakes, a Torsen limited-slip differential, a larger rear anti-roll bar, and a bigger radiator to keep the Bullitt’s 5.0-liter V-8 engine cool. The Mustang Bullitt V8 engine kicks out 480 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque that is paired with a six-speed manual transmission offered. In true McQueen fashion, the transmission gear shifter is retro cue ball, just like the original Bullitt. The Mustang Bullitt is available in two color options, Highland Green, like the original movie car, and Shadow Black.
