Upgraded Power and Capability!

While the 2020 Ford SUV might look similar to its predecessor, its exterior look is modeled after the Lincoln Aviator SUV and offers a new grille and an extended wheelbase, which increases the interior space a bit, giving you and your passengers a bit more head and leg room. The 2020 Explorer offers lots of capability with its available engines. The base engine is a returning four-cylinder model which allows this SUV to tow up to 5,300 pounds, increasing then capability of this SUV from the previous model year, while its available EcoBoost V6 engine allows the Explorer to tow an extra 300 pounds on top of the 5,300-pound capacity.

A new update of this Ford Explorer model is the addition of a hybrid variant, which combines a the V6 engine with an electric motor for optimal fuel savings, in addition to decreased emissions, giving you SUV that you can feel good about driving. You might not expect a hybrid car to have much capability to offer, but the upcoming Ford Explorer hybrid will have the ability to tow up to 5,000 pounds and, like all other trims, will come available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
